We retired from innkeeping November 1, 2012 and the Stewart Inn has become our private residence for the next couple of years. It will be fun to move into the "owners' side" of the house, visit our grandkids more often, and resume downhill skiing, which we had to put on hold for fear of a business-ending injury.
Potential buyers (much younger than us) are winding down their present careers and would be great stewards for the Inn. They, like us, are coming from the west coast. Watch for a new grand opening in 2015.
Our heartfelt thanks to those of you who have stayed with us and become friends. We hope our paths cross again!
